ALEXANDROS DROSOS ''ASCESSIONS'' IN TRINITY COLLEGE
This is a piece I wrote for string orchestra and electronic tape part. It is the third piece of my final composition exam at Trinity College of Music, called Anypsosis. It is heavily influenced by sacred minimalist music and Christian Orthodox chant. I decided not to include the original, raw tape part over the film and kept the sound from the recording, as I wanted to keep this a completely live performance. Feel free to write any comments or leave some feedback, it will be much appreciated. Hope you enjoy it.
My friend Jemma Riches is conducting the piece and it is performed by Trinity College of Music string players.
